7 free templates (and 6 Pro) designed for the way Outlook renders email. Pick one, fill in your details in the browser, then copy and paste it into Outlook. Every preview below is the exact HTML that gets copied.

Classic

Best for: Most people. Photo or logo on the side, labelled contact lines that are easy to scan.

Modern

Best for: Short signatures with a photo: everything fits in three lines under a thin accent bar.

Compact

Best for: Replies, internal mail and anyone who wants the lightest possible signature.

Minimal

Best for: Text-first people: engineers, writers, founders. Calm, no images.

Bold

Best for: Consultants and agencies who want the name to lead, with a logo to the side.

Centered

Best for: Organisations where the logo is the message; looks good on phones.

Corporate

Best for: Company-wide roll-outs, long addresses and legal company details.

ExecutivePro

Best for: Senior roles and advisers: a formal, quiet layout with contacts in a neat labelled table.

BannerPro

Best for: Brands with a strong colour: the name sits in a band of your accent colour.

CardPro

Best for: Freelancers and sales people who want a business-card look with social links set apart.

SplitPro

MonogramPro

Best for: People without a headshot who still want a visual mark: your initials in your colour.

ShowcasePro

Best for: Businesses that promote something: ringed photo, icon contacts, a button, partner badges and a banner.

How to add a template to Outlook

In the new Outlook for Windows (Outlook on the web and Outlook.com use the same screens):

  1. In the Fairsig generator, click Copy signature.
  2. In the new Outlook, open Settings, then Accounts, then Signatures.
  3. If you have several accounts, choose the account the signature is for.
  4. Select Add signature, type a name, then click in the editor and paste with Ctrl+V.
  5. Use the checkboxes at the bottom to use the signature for new messages and for replies and forwards.
  6. Select Save.

Classic Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mac and the mobile app have different menus. The Outlook signature guide has the steps for each, with illustrations and a troubleshooting checklist.

Why these templates hold up in Outlook

  • Tables for layout. Classic Outlook ignores flexbox, grid and floats. Tables keep columns in place.
  • Inline styles only. Signature editors often drop style blocks; inline styles stay on each element.
  • Linked images with a set width. No embedded images, so no surprise attachments and no logo at full size (see recommended sizes).
  • Web-safe fonts. Classic Outlook ignores web fonts, and in some versions the fallback is Times New Roman; the seven fonts in the generator are installed nearly everywhere (compared here).
  • Square-friendly photos. Classic Outlook ignores rounded corners, so choose a photo that also looks good square.

Which template for Outlook?

  • Company roll-out with a long address or legal details: Corporate.
  • Photo and a short contact list: Classic or Modern.
  • Lightest possible signature, also for replies: Compact or Minimal.
  • Logo first: Bold (logo beside the name) or Centered (logo on top).

Questions

Are these Outlook signature templates free?

Yes. 7 templates are free for personal and business use, with a small “Made with Fairsig” link. 6 more are marked Pro ($9 once): anyone can preview them, and Pro unlocks copying them without the link.

Do they work in classic Outlook for Windows?

Yes. Classic Outlook renders email with Word's engine, which ignores modern CSS layout. The templates use HTML tables and inline styles, which it handles reliably. The visible differences: round photos show as squares and spacing is slightly different.

Can I import an HTML file into Outlook?

Outlook's signature editor takes pasted content, not files. Click Copy signature in the generator and paste it into the editor. If you need the HTML itself (for an IT tool, for example), use Copy HTML or Download .html.

Why do my signature images arrive as attachments?

That happens with images embedded in the signature. Fairsig links images by https address with a fixed width instead, so they display inline. If you edited images inside Outlook's editor, paste a fresh copy from the generator.

Does the template work in the Outlook mobile app?

The Outlook app for iPhone, iPad and Android has its own signature setting, where you type your signature (Settings, then Signature). The Outlook guide has the steps.
