Bold

Best for: Consultants and agencies who want the name to lead, with a logo to the side.

Centered

Best for: Organisations where the logo is the message; looks good on phones.

Corporate

Best for: Company-wide roll-outs, long addresses and legal company details.

How to add a template to Gmail

  1. In the Fairsig generator, click Copy signature.
  2. Open Gmail on a computer. At the top right, click Settings (the gear icon), then See all settings.
  3. On the General tab, scroll down to the Signature section.
  4. Add a new signature, give it a name (for example “Work”), click in the signature box and paste with Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on a Mac).
  5. Below the box, choose this signature as the default for new emails and for replies and forwards.
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.

Don’t paste as plain text (Ctrl+Shift+V): it drops the layout and the links. The Gmail signature guide has illustrations, the mobile app settings and fixes for images that don’t show.

Why these templates work in Gmail

  • Small HTML. Gmail rejects signatures over 10,000 characters. The examples on this site produce roughly 900 to 2,600.
  • Linked images. Photos, logos and icons are PNG or JPG files at public https addresses with a set width, never embedded, so Gmail keeps them (see sizes).
  • Inline styles and tables. Signature editors often strip style blocks; inline styles stay on each element and survive the paste.
  • Web-safe fonts. Gmail shows a fallback for fonts the reader doesn’t have; the generator only offers fonts installed nearly everywhere.

Which template for Gmail?

  • Photo and a few contact lines: Modern or Classic.
  • Text only, very light: Minimal or Compact.
  • Company logo: Bold, Centered or Corporate.
  • Several signatures (for example one for new emails and a short one for replies): Gmail lets you save several and choose defaults for each.

Questions

Are these Gmail signature templates free?

Yes. 7 templates are free for personal and business use, with a small “Made with Fairsig” link. 6 more are marked Pro ($9 once): anyone can preview them, and Pro unlocks copying them without the link.

Why does Gmail say my signature is too long?

Gmail limits signatures to 10,000 characters of HTML. The templates here produce a fraction of that; the counter under the generator's preview counts the same HTML and warns you from 9,000. Long disclaimers and embedded images are the usual cause.

Why don't the images show in my Gmail signature?

The image must be at a public https address. Images behind a login (a private Google Drive file, for example) show as broken for everyone else, and Gmail doesn't display SVG. Fairsig links PNG and JPG images by URL with a set width.

Can I use the template in the Gmail app?

According to Google, if you don't create a mobile signature, the Gmail app uses the signature you set on your computer. So the simplest way to get the template on your phone is to set it in Gmail on a computer and leave the mobile signature empty. The Gmail guide has the details.

Can I paste HTML code into Gmail?

No. Gmail's signature box takes formatted content, not code. Click Copy signature in the generator and paste it into the box. Copy HTML and Download .html are there for tools that need the raw code.
